Default Attaching Fabric Rosettes To Elastic Headband

O.k. ladies, after lots and LOTS of practice I've FINALLY got the rolled fabric rosettes down!! I've attached them to clips and love the way they look. But, now I'm trying to attach them to skinny elastic to make headbands. Does anyone know the best way?? I don't know if it's better to glue them (hot glue or E6000??) or sew them to right on the elastic. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!

I hot glue, then cover it w/ felt to look cuter.
