1. Sew 5 - 7/8" (5.5" in length) spikes (not really spikes...more like ribbon cuts) together.

2. Make a twisted boutique (you can also use 2 color twisted) with 1.5" ribbon 25" in length. Attach the spikes to the twisted boutique bow.

3. Cut a small piece of marabou and glue it to the center.

4. Cut the 6-7 pieces of 4" length ribbon. For each piece, glue the ends together, but not right on top of each other. You'll need to twist it a bit...like a half of a figure 8, but not completely.

5. Glue each piece in random spots onto the twisted boutique bow around the marabou. I put some extra glue on the loops to secure it a bit more and make it look more uniform. Glue in 3 pieces of korker...lol.

There is really no way to explain how to do the center (the funky part) but to just glue the pieces in. I tried to figure out how to sew it, but I couldn't position the loops like I wanted. Glue holds....so I guess it will work.

I hope this makes sense. I'm awful at explaining myself.
You're the best! I could follow your instructions just fine-can't wait to get home to try it ---thanks again!!!

Here is my attempt minus the spikes. The marabo and korkers are just stuck in but the other I sewed in... I may add the spikes or I may trash the whole thing. LOL.

I'll keep trying.

I did - I followed her directions, but added more korkers and loops-I dont have a camera that will download-will see if mydaughter can download them for me--you really can't mess up in my opinion-the more over the top the better.

How are you ladies finishing it off? Just glue an alli clip to the back of the spikes? Do you tie it off in anyway or just add a ton if loops and korkers to hide the center? I love this bow. I was bored with all my other bows so this is a fun new project. Everyone's look great so far.

These are too cute! And a great way to use ribbon scraps too.

Everyone's looks so cute. Ginger and Honey your western one is adorable! The combo is great.

Oh my goodness. I was looking On Etsy last night and saw these amazing bows and just realized it's the same seller. On Etsy she goes by andjane. I saw the farm bow and thought the Etsy seller ripped it off. LOL.
