I still think that 1 person made those bows and sells to the other boutiques. I am sure that savy britches boutique doesn't make all their own products. They sell a million things. There is no way 2 ladies are making all that.
That is quite a bit of stuff to make and sell between two people. Especially having kids! I'm lucky if I can get two bows done a day with my four kids needing me...and I'm a perfectionist!

I would really like to know who the original maker of the bows are because I would PAY for a tutorial! I pulled apart the mess I made last night and I am going to use scraps to try it a different way.

It is VERY reasonable to believe that maybe one person is WHOLESALING to these people. I wholesale my bows to a BOW MAKER all of the time and she uses MY pictures on her site, just her watermark on them. I have worked with tutu spoiled before and she buys her product wholesale from andjane. Tutu spoiled doesn't make anything of her own that it looks like. I think she buys everything wholesale and resales it. It IS very common.

That's good to hear then. I thought that sounded a little too large scale to be going on and no one saying anything about it lol

Also, the baby of mine boutique site also has bows of doodles bowtique. I would assume that either A, this person is stealing pics, or B, she is also a person who buys wholesale.

So would I. I've given up on this bow for now. I gave in and emailed andjane to ask about a tutorial. I don't know if she's willing to share, so I'm just waiting until I feel like trying this bow again. Back to work on my other bows!

Ok so here is my first attempt. I also did not have any marabou, so I used tulle instead. I for the life of me cannot make a boutique bow. So I just cut the 1.5" ribbon to 6" (I think) and made a bigger version of the little loops and glued them to the spikes as if it were a boutique bow.

I have to say, andjane's bow are simply spectacular. Did she reply to you about a tut? I'm going to sit down later today and try making some bows. I wonder what will happen? lol

If it works, it works! I love the colors you chose!
