Juliemo, that looks great!

How much ribbon did you use if you don't mind me asking, the lengths etc???

Did you use the 'recipe' that one of the ladies posted on here? Did you manage to put it onto a clip?

The lady that posted hers along with her pics - that is what I used. I think page 14 or 15?? I did 7 spikes, and 7 loops.

I did put mine onto a clip. I did my spikes (glued them..next time I will sew them and tie them off. I think it will be easier.), then my boutique bow and glued that down onto my spikes. Then stuck that on a clip, like you would any bow. Then I added the puff, and loops. Just becareful that no glue strings get onto your puff...that did happen once, but not too bad.

HTH!

Thanks for posting these! I was going to attempt to figure this bow out last night and post pictures, but my poor princess is teething and I didn't get one bow even started .

Sorry to hear that.....not a fun time!! Maybe you'll get some time to attempt a creation later. Can never have too many pics and instructions in my opinion!!

Juliemo: Are you using all 7/8 ribbon? or some of the loops in the center 3/8?

So did you flip your boutique bow upside down? I know some of you were saying the bow was upside down. I am hoping my little princess will be a happy baby tonight so I can get to work!

No the boutique bow is right side up. Seemed to work lol

For the loops I used 7/8, 5/8 and 3/8 - You could fit 1.5 in it I think.

They were taken on my phone with no flash and I did the best I could holding the ribbon in one hand and the phone in the other lol I will consider doing a more detailed and better quality tut and charge a small fee if anyone is interested. What do you guys think?

1. Take an unfinished twisted boutique bow mine was 4 inches (this one is black because I forgot to take the picture before continuing to the next step).

2. Add some marabou to the center of the bow.

3. assemble the loops and spikes for the bow. My spikes are 5" and my loop pieces are 3.5" heat seal all of them

4. Put a small drop of hot glue on one side of a loop piece and fold the other end over.

5. twist one side so that the loop stands out better
How nice of you to post pics ~ thank you! I wish I knew how to make one of these bows ~ they're so cute.

Thanks! That helps. I, once again, didn't get to experiment today! LOL! I went to work, then voted, then to Wal-Mart, then straightened up the house/made dinner/kids' lunches for tomorrow, and then went supply ordering crazy . Definitely tomorrow! I think I'll stick with the smaller ribbon for the loops...1.5 might be too much, but it's always worth experimenting to see exactly how it would look.
