In my opinion- It's a narrow twisted boutique on the bottom (navy blue) And then single twisted pieces placed inside. Spikes on the bottom.

Ok here are the pics as promised (better late than never).

They were taken on my phone with no flash and I did the best I could holding the ribbon in one hand and the phone in the other lol I will consider doing a more detailed and better quality tut and charge a small fee if anyone is interested. What do you guys think?

1. Take an unfinished twisted boutique bow mine was 4 inches (this one is black because I forgot to take the picture before continuing to the next step).

2. Add some marabou to the center of the bow.

3. assemble the loops and spikes for the bow. My spikes are 5" and my loop pieces are 3.5" heat seal all of them

4. Put a small drop of hot glue on one side of a loop piece and fold the other end over.

5. twist one side so that the loop stands out better

Thanks for taking pics. Are you going to post more of the other steps? i.e where/how to glue the loops/spikes and assembling it all?. Also would love to see the finished item.

6. glue all of your spikes together in the very center. It takes very little glue. You can sew them together if you like that better.

7. Glue your finished loops along the sides of the marabou. I do mine in reverse on each side.

8. I'm pulling back the sides of the bow so you can see the "guts" of the bow and how I attached it.

9. Now put glue along the bottom of the loops and stick the sides of the twisted bow to the loops so that you can hide the "guts"

10. Now you have your two parts of the bow finished.

11. Put a healthy amount of glue on the spikes and center the bow on top.

12. After the glue cools you have your finished bow that is ready to have whatever clip you prefer attached to the back. These look really cute on headbands!
