Default Is this wrong?

I make my boutique bows and instead of using elastic thread I having been using tiny grooming elastics (smaller then you can find in stores but thicker)...I see some people use wire and many the elastic thread...should I be switching? Right now it seems to be working for me.

I have used them before also, being a groomer I have them around. If it's working for you then no it's not wrong.

I'd say as long as it's secure there's nothing wrong with that.

As long as you like it and it makes you feel comfortable, I think there is no wrong with it. Follow what you feel is right.

Yes I went to the groom classic this year and may go to some others in the fall. I'm on petgroomerforums all the time :-)

If it is still working for you I don't see any reason why you have to switch. Maybe when the time that tiny grooming elastics are not doing good for you that is the time that you have to switch.

No reason to switch if it's working for you, I didn't have the grooming ones, only the little skinny ones you get in the stores, those would bust on me when my glue got too hot when I tried to put the center knot over it. But if it works for you with the thicker ones, keep them that way, it was a quick and easy way to do it.
