How do you make a color layered tutu?

I really don't know if i can explain this well enough to understand lol...
If you are doing the no sew tutu and just knotting the tulle around the elastic then lay the white right behind the navy and then knot them together and you should end up with the white underneath the navy. I wish i could explain it better. Here are a few pics to try to show you what i mean. Please excuse the demonstration, i did not have a dark color tulle so i put a piece of navy ribbon and white ribbon to show you where the colors would end up.

Do you want to make a revesable tutu? one colour on the top layer and another on the bottom?

Use elastic and take one strip of your first colour and tie it using a loop. ( use just one piece of tulle) tug gentley untill the tulle is lying flat and neat lying down from the waist elastic.

Then take one piece of the the 2nd colour tulle and turn the elastic around and knot the 2nd peice upwards from the waist band.

Carry one knotting one peice up and one piece down untill you finish.

The gently pull the top layer down ( knot by knot - it takes a while!) untill it lies over the bottom layer.

The tutu will be nice and full and can be worn with either colour on top.
