Default Attaching Flowers to Headbands...

I'm wanting to attach some flowers to skinny elastic and FOE headbands and was wondering, do you ladies just glue the flower directly onto the headband and you're done OR do you glue the flower to the headband and then glue a piece of felt to cover up the seam/excess glue? Thanks so much!

I finish it off with felt, makes it much more secure imo and it looks better on the finished product

I have been using the Blizzard Fleece from Joann Fabric and cut my circles . I like this because it is so much softer for the head than felt.
