Question Boutique ???

Ok I'm sure you have answered this question many times but how in the heck do ya'll get your boutique bows to look umm poofy? When I make mine it just looks like I'm tying a shoe lace. I looked at the instructions on that girly things website and followed them but when it got to the fluff part mine didn't turn out...Any help would be appreciated..

I seem to loose the angle as soon as I sew them.

For me, it is definitely the angle when I fold. Also, I like to use ribbon that is a little stiff. I like Schiff the best for sure.

To start with you have to make your angles sharp when you are folding, and hold on tight to maintain that angle. (or use a clip to hold it until you finish tying it.) If you did that and it just needs some sprucing up, try stuffing is with tissue to make it poofy, and spraying it with starch or fabric stiffener.

Also, you may want to check out this post http://hipgirlclips.com/forums/how-m...rfly-fold.html
It has helped me, and apparently a lot of others too.

Honey, if you sound like a dork, I think most of us do. It really is fun and rewarding to make bows. I'm glad you got it to work out!
