Default Tutu Bow holder HELP!!!

I am making one of these... I have the body all done, just working on the tulle now.. I know I am suppose to clue it etc.... I get all that.. but how are you gathering your tulle? Do you sew a stick at the top, gather it that way then glue? OR are you making it like a tutu, cutting little strips and attaching it to a ribbon or something, knoting it around that? Stuck on that part.. I am wanting it full, so alittle confused!!! Help would be appriciated, trying to finish it today!!! THANKS!

I haven't made one of these yet but I have read that you use elastic (just like a regular no-sew tutu) and glue that on. Hope this helps.

i've only made 4 so far, so i'm by no means an expert. but i JUST posted pictures of 3 of mine in the hairbow gallery. the first and last pictures i took elastic and did a no sew tutu, knotting the tulle (i buy the 6" rolls). the middle one, i took 3 yards of tulle from the bolt, wrapped it around the back of on of my daughter's floor-sized coloring books, then cut the bottom. i then took the top folded part of the tulle, gathered it on my needle and tied off, then glued that to the form. i tend to like the no-sew method best, and can get a really full skirt, but the other way i found gave me a more gown like look. hth!!!

I have made over 50 of these I am working on a tutorial but I will tell you I sew my tulle with the sewing machine straight across then I gather it. I use 3 sections of tulle so it is extra full
