Default Ribbon heaven. Worth it?

Im new to this bow making business. I just had a lil girl 4 months and have gone overboard on bows. I came across ribbon heaven and wondering if the 24.95 membership is worth it. If you are a member please let me know

PRO
The ribbon is really cute.
Great price for 10 yards

CON
Membership is $25
Customer Service is TERRIBLE
Shipping, I think they have tortoises deliver it to USPS.
I've still not recived a roll that was on bacorder that I paid for 6 months ago, and I've even asked for a substitue roll.

This is just my opinion though. Good Luck!

I'm so sorry to hear that this happened. I'd be happy to help you follow up on this if you'd like. If you would email me your invoice number and/ or any emails that you have gotten from Donna I can look into this for you. My email is lilredsmiles@yahoo.com

Ribbonheaven is a group buy site and Donna asks for 2 weeks to process orders in exchange for wholesale pricing. (6 months is not the norm, and I am so sorry that this seems to have fallen between the cracks)

If you want this ribbon without membership fee & retail pricing, feel free to visit Jena's site (her designer): Sweetpeasribbonsbows.com. I know she has some good mixes in her shop too.

I joined and the membership was on sale for 14.99....I believe it might still be on sale through the Tabby site.

I placed and order and I recieved it within 3 weeks and I'm I Canada..
I mainly make for my own girls so I like that you don't have to buy 100 yards of the ribbon..

I paid the membership fee and I mainly see cute stuff in the mickey mouse heads. But I'm not interested in any of that. I was hoping for more dots and solids. I haven't ordered and it's been a month. So I don't know how I feel about it.

Have you participated in any of the Schiff solids buys or the dots buy we just did in the Yahoo group? I have another dots buy in the works & am putting together a glitter/ metallic velvet buy (non-stretchy!)

I think it's totally worth it. I did it in Dec. last year for the full price & I still think it's worth it. On ebay specialty printed ribbon is $1 or more a yard & on RH you can get 10 yards for about $3.50. I like the mouse heads & all the M2M ribbon but even the scrolls & other more "plain" printed ribbon is nice.

And the Yahoo group does do GB's that you never have to pay a buy fee for. And they do contests. I won $20 of products free!! And I've gotten 10 yards of free ribbon for referrals (3 times!) & 10 yards free with my first order. Shipping does take awhile but if you plan for that it's fine.

I didn't think it was worth it when I first joined and it took me a while to actually place an order but after I did and saw the ribbon in person I fell in love. I am about to place another large order! I def. think it is worth it, especially if you can catch membership on sale like I did.
