Default Glueing Bow to clip help

I am wondering if everyone just glues the finished bow to your clip/barrette after it's ALL complted.... or... Do you make the bow... glue the clip on.. then add your center to the bow and wrap it around the clip to secure it? Hope this makes sense.. I am just wondering if everyone wraps that middle part around the clip... or just glue it on the back without anything holding the clip on but the glue?

I wrap my center around the clip. I also line my clips before wrapping the center around.

I also glue bow to lined clip, then wrap the center around bow and clip.

I only use glue on my alligator clips because I dont like the bulkyness when you wrap the center around the alligator clip. I add nonslip grip to mine so it makes it even that much more bulky. For the French barrettes I glue them to the back of the bow and then wrap the center around it. I have never had a clip come off before and my 2 year old is very rough on her bows. They have been pulled, thrown, stepped on, washed, and dried and never had any come apart.
