I wrap around the clip too. I agree that it makes the clip a bit bulky, but I feel like it looks more finished like that.

Is there a particular way that you wrap it around the alligator clip? When I did it I just wrapped one end to the edge of the clip, cut and sealed and repeated for the other end. Maybe I should wrap past the clip so its not so bulky right on the clip? Never thought about that until now! LOL! I think it looks more finished too, but just didnt like how it turned out when I did it that maybe I am doing it all wrong!
