Default Re: Help in making a singed flower

I use a votive as well in a glass candle holder. I've tried the lighter, but didn't like it because of drafts and it's one more thing to hold and burn you. On the smaller circle I use an ally clips so I don't burn my fingers while holding the fabric to the candle. Really once you do a few circles you will get the hang of it and how close to hold or not to hold. I personally like to use the satin better then anything else I've tired because it didn't seem to burn... I like the look of the tulle mixed w/ the satin, but I always seem to burn the silly tulle.

Good luck!! Here is the FIRST one I ever did.. I've only done about 7-10 as of right now.. They aren't my favorite thing to do but it's usually because I have a 2 yr old in my face and him and fire don't mix!
