I'm not sure if it is the same thing or not, but my daughter makes some for me (three different sizes). She makes them on knitting looms...she got an American Girl kit from Michaels that showed her how! I had searched online and couldn't find one so I offered to pay her to make some...now I have plenty! Good luck finding a tut on here!

http://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/pat...&pageLength=15

that should take you to a search on the lionbrand site for "flowers"

there are several patterns you could use you will have to set up a free account to view the actual patterns though

ok I just tested out the link and it worked for me, then scroll to the bottom and of those last few patterns would work great, you could even use the flowers from the scarf or the cape and cloche if you wanted

Don't know if you're still looking (I just saw this) but the BEST flowers I've ever crocheted (and I've crocheted lots) are made using this tutorial. There are 3 videos on the page, the first is a learn to crochet video, but the other 2 are the crochet flowers one. You can buy the pattern book, but I just wrote down the instructions the video gives as I went along, and after making a few I had it memorized.
These are nice tight flowers compared to some other ones. And you can use any size yarn you want.

I LOVE making this one..
http://www.action-hero.net/blog/2004...r-pattern.html

the center isn't quite so open like it shows so it leaves just enough room for a rhinestone
