Not a silly question at all! There are always new things to be learned. I am continually improving my skills =)

For the very fine spider-webby hot glue, the glue gun will melt them into the ribbon & they will be invisible. If it is bigger pieces of hot glue, let it cool & pick off as much as you can. Then use the hair dryer to melt the residual hot glue.

i just bought an embosser heat blower for this too! i am sure the hair dryer would do it and be much more cost effective but i love the one i just bought. working on inventory for upcoming shows and now i have to go back and blow each one! it is so awesome tho. i was picking and picking trying to get rid of those things and never happy w/ the results and now they are GONE!!!

I use my embossing gun...it blows hot air and works the same way as a hair drier.
