Do you have any extras from the GB? I would love to get some to try it out...

I just got one so haven't made any but I would trim the bottom and then cover it with felt to hide the cut

OK girls, I tried trimming part of the seam off and that seems to do the trick. Thanks for the encouragement to try it. Here's a couple of pics. You can see a big difference from my first attempt. Unfortunately, I didn't have any gray felt for the bottom of this one. OK Julia, where's that hairparts buy I saw you post about? LOL. I need some metal headbands now.

Thank you. I thought I would experiment on the gray one in case it didn't work, since it is probably a less popular color. And I forgot about your other group buy. I was wanting some of those too.

I did make a flower a guess thats what I would call it! lol I added a piece of felt to the bottom to make it flat and then you can attach pretty much whatever finish(barrette or clip) you want to the back. HTH

I got my trim today. I just grabbed it out of the mailbox as I was heading out for the day. It is really pretty and I can't wait to start playing with it but it is going to have to wait a while. I have way too much stuff to do in the next few weeks before I can even think about working on anything new. Thanks for doing the buy Julia, even though I really didn't NEED to add anything else to my already overflowing house.
