Question How do you ship tutu wands and pencils?

For you ladies who sell tutu wands and pencils.... how do you ship them if the customer just orders the wands/pencils alone?

I usually get these ordered together with tutus, so it is not hard to just "bury" the pencil/wand into the box along with the tutu. But recently, I had two orders of just the pencils, and I used a cardboard and bubble envelope. One package arrived fine, but the other was crushed and one of the pencils broke.

I would love to see how you ladies ship yours. I can't seem to find a box that is wide and sturdy enough, and doesn't cost more to ship than the product itself.

TIA~!

I wrap them in tissue paper and tie a piece of tulle around the poof part then tape the top. Then I place them in a lg bubble mailer and have the post office stamp it with "do not bend" or whatever that stamp is. I've never had a problem with any of them breaking. I don't make the pencils though, just the wands. If they order a tutu with it, it goes in a priority box with the tutu.

Oooh! Thanks for the tips! I never thought of going into the post office to have them stamp the "Do not bend" stamps. Shall try that once I get the replacement made.

Cool! Thanks for the info! So the "home made" Do not Bend stamps will work too?
