Default For those of you who line your clips

Do you line the whole clip or just the top part? What are the pros and cons?

I line the bottom of the top prong, around and under and stop 1/3 if the way, give or take, on the bottom prong. Not sure if that makes sense or if I used the right terminology. I would think, depending on the ribbon, if you fully lined, all the way around, it might help the bow stay. Ex, a velvet type ribbon would stick in fine hair.

I just line half. the top part.. the pinch part and a tiny bit on the back.. Not sure of the benefits.. except
less ribbon
less tape or glue
faster
I think it says in the hair better then having the entire clips lined.

At the top of this page.. there is an add that shows lined clips.. except it's not showing right now.. I think it's selling the no slip... looks like they line clips backwards. Has anyone else noticed that?? instead of lining the top.. they line the botton half.
