I like to use my hot tool. That way I can cut and seal in one step.

See, I had such a hard time with it! How do y'all do it? I cut it directly on the dowel like I was told. It didn't work bc it cut into the ribbon curl next to the one I was cutting a little bit on either side. Does that make sense? Do y'all cut it while it's on the dowel? Or take it off and cut it on glass? Also, are you using a certain tip> I had the "exacto-like" blade on it?

Hobby lobby and walmart has them. It's just a tool you can plug in and a lot of people on here use it to "cut and seal" ribbon. Cuts out a step.

I take mine off the dowel and cut it on glass on top of my self healing mat..if that makes sense. I use the exacto one and have also used the one that kinda looks like a tear drop. Hope it helps.

Yes that does help! I will try it with taking it off the dowel. Thank you!
