Default How do you glue your clips on??

I don't know if it is just me but I have a thing with my alligator clips and flowers. I find the 'hinge' side of the clip tends to push up one side of the flower and can make it look uneven in photos. Plus sometimes on headbands you can see the clip from the side too....I guess thats just an anal thing I have.

Just wondering how...or more so where abouts do you glue your alli clips to your flowers? Do you glue them in the middle, closer to the hinge, closer to the end?? I am just curious because I want to start gluing some of my singed flowers to alli clips but not sure if there is a "special" way to go about it.

for my flowers I actually do it "upside down" where the angled part is down so the flat side is lined and flat against the flower.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I have these nice flowers with big bumps, drives me crazy. I will try the upside down clip, thanks for the tip!
