Default Help with plastic headbands that are too big!

I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right place. Please move if necessary.

Ok- so you know that when you order the plastic headbands they come wrapped around one another to save space so the ones on the inside are tight and the ones on the outside are stretched out, right? So do any of you have any tips on how to 'shrink' those headbands that are too big? I advertise these headbands as being able to fit a toddler, but I know that some of these would fall right off as they are now.

Any ideas would be great!

TIA,
Hunter

I know I read that some ladies here bake them back into shape. I'm sure someone else has better details though...

I can usually shape them with my hands to get them where I like them. I've heard of people baking them to reshape, but I think that causes them to be brittle.
