I love her site and these bows. How do you think she makes the itty bitty bows? My dd is only 2 months and the bigger bows while they look cute sometimes overpower her tiny head and I would love to make smaller bows like these.

Here is anothe rlink too and I think this is made from 3/8 as well.. http://www.etsy.com/listing/51714181...rder=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

I have so much 3/8 from scrapbookign and would love to put it to use. I am a newbie so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Those are super cute bows.....I am not a bow maker any longer...I used to but have gone to strictly sewing.....I HATED working with the 3/8 ribbon though....it NEVER seemed to do what I wanted it too!!! Good luck getting it figured out though..

The bows in the first link are made with 5/8 and 3/8 ribbon.

I'm really liking the bows in the second pic! I love the little tiny bows. If anyone comes up with a free tut then I am all ears!

Those are so cute and well made. Did you see the post on here the other day about the lady that does the itty bitties on her fingers and then pins them to the couch to shape? It was very helpful. I'm not sure how to find old posts and re-post them in another or I'd certainly lead ya there.
Good luck.

I have made the itty bitty (like the second picture). You would just make the bow the same way you do your twisted bow for 7/8 or 1.5. It is a little trickier to do the 3.8, but you get used to it. Then you just add the three spikes and put it all together. I will go see if I can find a tut because I think I have seen one on here before!

Here is a tut I found that was posted on here before! Hope this helps! I just did a search for itty bitty bows and found quite a few instructions!

Tut for itty bitty bows?

I made the bow in the first picture last year for my twin girlies' July 4th outfit. I make them just like regular bows, but with smaller ribbon - 3/8 and 5/8. There are a ton of tutorials out there with a million different ways to make a boutique bow - just do what works for you!
