Ok, I haven't used E6000 too much, but you have just scared the crap out of me! I have enough skin problems as it is! So of course after reading your story my brain goes into over drive "do I wear latex gloves when using it? is it worth using it? Do I make the hubby take one for the team and be my lab rat and make him put the E6000 on what it needs to go on, so I don't have to risk getting burned?" and so on.

Does it eat through latex or rubber gloves?

Allison, great read. Sorry for the incident though. I can't tell you how much E6000 I have wasted over the years because of that very reason. I luckily don't have senstive skin, but it really irritates my daughter. I have used it for years and while I really like the product...the packaging SUCKS to say the least. I have complained to them several times (as in a whole bunch!!!!!) about it but I guess as long as "we" keep buying it they have no reason to change it. I hope your leg feels better, thanks for the chuckle and squeeze the tube over the table next time my dear

Oh, man Allison! So sorry that happened to you! I hope it doesn't hurt too much and especially in this heat.

I use E6000 to glue my bc's to clips and it really irritates my eyes. Its like I have allergies or something, which I don't. I've switched to Liquid Fusion. I can only find it at Joann's or Michaels.

Well written, but ouch!! Sorry that happened to you..I have yet to try E-6000, I'm sure I will come to a point where it becomes necessary, and I will take your warning to heart!

I burned my finger badly on very very hot glue, that was painful enough! Two weeks ago and the blister just started peeling today. Hope it heals quickly for you, and I really hope whoever makes E-6000 thinks to design a better package! (non-corrosive glue would be nice too, but we can't have it all. )
