What size base ribbon is everyone using? I've seen instructions for 2 1/2" or 3", but can't find any locally. I wanted to give these a try and show my local HS them to see if they are interested.

TIA!

most people use the 2.25 or 3" for the base bow especially high school. The Ribbon Retreat or RABOM has decent prices if you're wanting to try out some different colors. Depending on what colors you're looking for I could probably send you some.

Actually $10 is a pretty good deal for a bow with that much in it! If you price them on the cheer bow web sites, they can be as much as $20 for a comparable bow.

Where can I find directions on how to make these bows? I have made our high school's cheer bows for two years now, but nothing like the ones you ladies are making. I'm sure they are going to want them again this year and I think the girls would really go for the sequin and the style. Thanks!

I got my sequins ribbon at walmart and hobby lobby.

Love the bow. I make childrens bows and have someone interested in me making their cheer bows. Could you give me a little more information on how to heat the ribbon together or tell me where you learned how to do it.

Thanks so much
Andrea

Hello,
where did you get the instructions? I'm looking to make a cheer bow for the first time and would love to know how.

I bought my instructions off of the nobownogo.com web site for $5. Makes a perfect cheer bow every time! Money well spent!

Great bows and beautiful girls. Hope her team truely appreciates your talents. They got quite a deal.
