Default Tutu tying preferences?

So I keep reading about the slip knot and square knot for tying tutus. I currently use the slip knot but which one makes the tutu poofier? What is your preference?

Pics are welcome to share and compare

Here is a pic of one of mine. This is a slip knot with 2 layers

I was doing a slip with three layers, but stopped because it was messy and I couldn't it tight without rolling the elastic. The last one I did I used a square knot with just one was much neater and a ton puffier!! (is puffier a word?!?! Anyway, on my thread from the other day, another HG posted a link to a video she did of a slip with one layer. I am going to try it since it is different from what I was doing with my slip.

ETA the link.... pics are on there too!!
PLEASE DO NOT SELL TO ME!!! NEED a 12 step program!! Anyone know of a good one?!!? Ribbons and Stuff Anonymous?!?!

I made my last tutu with two layers and tied them with a double knot. It came out really good, my dd looked so cute in it. But I really did not like the double knot on the shorter tutu I did, the knots did not come out smooth and they were poking up.

I have only tried the slipknot one time, but it was with single layers and not nearly enough tulle, and the tulle is now shedding, it's all coming apart. Do the slip knots stay better if you use more tulle, ie more overall, rather than more per strip, because they seemed really loose if I had more than 1 strip (I did one of each before deciding which knot). Sorry to ramble, I am still very tired this morning!
