Default E600 glue and rhinestones?

I have noticed the rhinestones I have bought at Michales the big ones, when I glue them on they look really weird with the E600 glue on the back.Is this normal? It doesn't ruind the stone at all its just they stones look weird now.

I haven't used my glue gun because I have seen how jut using that the flowers or the stones pop off easier.

You can't use E6000 with plastic or acrylic rhinestones, it reacts with the backing. I've used my glue gun on all my cheapy rhinestones and have never had a problem.

I haven't used the glue gun because I found they don't stand up well to my kids wear. I use GemTac based on another recommendation on this board and it works great. HTH

I've used my glue gun with the hot melt sticks with the cheap rhinestones and never had a problem. I ran into the same thing with the E6000. I only use that for the real rhinestones and my bottle caps.
