Default FOE Headbands--not for babies

So, I got some of Baby Glam's awesome FOE!! It is so pretty. But I was seeing how long everyone was cutting it to make the headbands like Forever 21 sells. I know someone said they cut theirs 24". I have tried 18" and 24" and neither stay on my head--but neither do the elastic ones you buy at the store. So just trying to see what everyone else is doing!

I am thinking maybe 22"?? I measured one of the elastic ones that looks like a big pony o and they are about 18" long.

I was just wondering about this earlier when I tried to make one earlier today. I made an adjustable knot but no matter where I tied it, it would not stay in my hair ? Maybe my head is just not the right shape lol

none of the sizes stay on my head, I guess it is not round enough, what I do to figure out size is a wrap the foe around the head as I want it to sit and then I cut it about 1/2 to 1/4 inch shorter

I can only make them work on my hair if I have my hair curly with gel in it. But if it is straight--no luck!

Thanks!!

I cut the FOE to 22 inches, then make a knot about an inch or two form the bottom. I wore it all day, and it stayed on my head. HTH

you know what.. when I came out of the hospital with my first kiddo I could tell you how much she weighed, how long she was, and the size of her big HEAD.
I can't remember! How big is the average baby head when they arrive?

Thanks for posting the info. It helps so much to get the additional input. Didn't get my glam foe package yet but really looking forward to it!

are you having lots of fun with the new foe?? flower bands?
