Default Attaching flowers to clips- how do YOU do it?

I searched and searched the forum but haven't had any luck with this. I hope you'll be able to help me out.

I bought a bunch of stemmed flowers when they were having a crazy sale at Michael's earlier this year and now I'm hoping to start playing around with attaching them to clips but I'm not sure how to do it.

I've seen other people mention that they take their flowers completely apart and then glue it all together but I'm not really picturing it in my head. I would really appreciate it if any of you are willing to give me a step by step or share a tutorial that you may have so that I can use up some of this inventory that I have.

TIA,

Hunter

Yes, you have to snip the stem and take them all apart. There are plenty of videos on YouTube you can watch for examples. That's how I learned.

I am sure there are many different ways to do it. I prefer to take mine all apart and remove all the plastic parts. I arrange the layers like I want them and then I clip a salon clip on one side to hold them in place and I stitch around the center hole of the flower (usually about 8 stitches). I then cut out a felt circle for the back, glue on the rhinestone/button center and glue an alligator clip to the center of the felt circle! This works best for me!

I take mine apart and take all the plastic pieces out, then glue them back together layer by layer, and attach a partially line alligator clip to the back.

I just take them apart and flip them together with a few dots of hot glue between fabrics. Then add a center and voila!
Hot glue goes on between flower and ribbon on the clip OR

sometimes I do sew the flower. There's a hole in there so I just do four holes around the center. Then I pick two places somewhere in there to put my needle thru to go thru the center of that hole in the top of the alligator clip.

Hope i didn't lose you.

I also pull apart the plastic stem, clip off close to the center and hot glue all the layers together... I used to sew them but found that gluing together keeps them together just as well -- with about half the time of prep. I then glue to the clip... I also take a piece of ribbon, about 1 1/2 long (depends on size of the flower) and glue that cross wise over the inside of the clip to the back of the flower for extra security.

Hope that makes some sense!
