I'm not Kristy, but I can tell you how I do it. I sandwich the fabric with paper and it cuts through fine. Ive tried without anything and it doesn't cut all the way or it frays. You can not cut with the sizzlets die the blade isn't deep enough. HTH

I love those. I see them on Etsy and they sell really well from what I can see. They look so pretty! You have gotta teach us. Just one more thing to add to the to do list that is already a mile long!

Hmmm....ok - I will have to try that - paper on the bottom and on the top??? can you cut through more than one layer of fabric at a time?

You don't have to have the paper. It just depends on your die cut. You can not cut the thin sizzlits as she said. Well I shouldn't say that as I've only tried to cut felt with the thin blades and was not sucessful at all. I even have a special adapter for thin blades. However, I'm not at home so I haven't attempted to cut material with the thin dies. You can use paper to get a cleaner cut and it works great. I put my paper between the die and the first material. You don't need it on the bottom. At least I haven't! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I'm having a blast and not logging on here much!
