Default Do you cover the back of iron on appliques for clippies?

For those who use iron on appliques for clippies and bow centers....do you use them as they are? Or do you put ribbon or felt as a backing on them before using them on a clippie for a more finished look?

Any tips on how to do it 'nicely' for a more pro look?

THANKS!

Melissa

If you are gluing them on with hot glue then you need to take the iron on backing off. Otherwise they will pull off very easily.

Good to know! I made some years ago for my daughter using the iron ons and I noticed over time they did pop off the clip, now I know why.

I use a lil craft knife and cut away the iron on part.

Thanks for the information. I bought some appliques in a previous buy and more I am buying in current GBs. I just haven't had time yet to play with the ones that already came in.

I want to give them a really good professional look when they are worn.
