How do you think she did this on the back of the dress to make it tie that way?Sorry this Pic is so big. It not my pic or my dress.

Buttonhole in the middle of the casing. Stitch the button hole before you seam.

it looks like they made a casing to run the ribbon through. The casing splits in the middle of the top side so the ribbon ends come out and then they tie

I hope that makes sense!

oooooo me too!! my girls hate pillowcase dresses b/c of the ties rubbing against there necks or face. They would loooooooovvvvveee these!!

I have made them with wider ties and tie them in the front.
