Default Headband Question

Just wanted to see how you girls attach your bows to the crochet headbands??? Most of my customers request them on a clip so they are detachable...but wanted to see how you all do them permanently attached???

I have only made a couple that were permanently attached, but I just sew them from the bottom.

For me, i put a ribbop loop around the headband and glue the flower on the ribbon.. That way if the buyer change mind about making it permanently attached.. It can be easily changed..

I sew them if I'm not using a clip. I always match the thread to the color of the headband stutch inside the bow loops. Does that make sense? I dont want the stitches to show.

I sew mine to a lenght of 5/8 ribbon, and then glue the ribbon around the band at the seam..It seems sturdier to me.

That sounds great! It also looks nicer much of the time with a bit of a gather. And customers will appreciate the extra loop!

I always put them on clips and make the headbands/clips interchangeable

I sew through the width of the headband and then up and back through the bow - hope that makes sense. Then, I use my center knot and go all the way around the bow and headband.
