I've seen several people say they bake their bows, and I've heard that it helps hold the shape. Do you do this basically the same way you bake korkers?---275* for 25 minutes? Also, if you are making a layered bow, do you bake the bow layers separately first and then stack them together; or do you assemble the whole thing and then bake it? What about loops....can you bake those; is the hot glue affected at all by the baking?
Re: Baking Bows?
I bake my bows, but not at 275!! I do 15 minutes at 220. For layered bows, I do bake each layer individually. I have small glass bowls that I put on the cookie sheet and put the loops upside down on the bowls while I bake them. Glue does have a tendency to come undone when baked, so I don't recommend baking anything that has been glued together.
