Those are great. I can't wait to make one. Where do you get your flowers?

The tutus are wore around her chest, but me niece who is 9 can wear it around her waist and ties the halter around her waist as a bow. I like making them that way because it can grow with them!!!
As far as the flowers-I got the purple ones from wal-mart and the others are from Micheals.

Rhonda
I also fixed the 2 flower problem!!
THANKS FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!!

Hi
I am getting ready to make one of these for my daughter's first birthday. How much tulle did you use (total)?
thanks

I have made these kinds before, and I have sold two. My only problem with them is keeping the strips of tulle from flying around everywhere and getting all messy. Mine never look nice and straight like that. What did you do?!?!? How wide were your strips of tulle? Mine are usually 2-3" wide.

At Joanns, they told me to use this different type of tulle to get the straight laid-down look... but the tulle was not nearly as pretty as the tulle I use. The weave of the fabric was much thicker and it just looked itchy. They said it's what people usually use (it's on a shorter bolt, and the spaces between the threads is bigger.... if say it was a sheet it would be lower thread count.... know what I mean?)

I used 6 in strips. Some are from a roll but most I cut from a bolt of tulle. It is alot more work but it was cheaper. To get them straight you have to "RAKE THEM" with your fingers. My DD wore on for Easter and it was all up by her waist within a few miniutes..
