Default I tried and failed miserably

So I tried to make the creamsicle here:

http://www.etsy.com/transaction/30444143

and I failed miserably. I couldn't figure out how to adhere the beads to the popsicle without them clumping~it was a mess.

If anyone knows how to make these, please create a tutorial and I'll pay for the instructions because I suck at them!

I'm not a specialist...But I think what I would try is to bake item first...then after its cooled I would use a modge podge or some other sort of sealer--probably a satin and not a gloss...and brush a thick layer on your item...place your beads in a shallow small dish with raised sides and *dredge* if you will the item in the beads to get them to adhere to sealer and then when item is covered I would let it dry and then possible use some sort of sealer on the top to prevent beads from coming of....possibly some sort of spray so there is less possiblility of the beads coming off . Does that make sense?

Her stuff is adorable! I have no idea how to make those! Is it resin (sp?)? Her stuff looks like it takes FOREVER to make, too! She's very creative.

Just so you all don't think I'm being a brat, here's what info I was able to come up with (find):

TLS (liquid clay) as glue, roll the item in the beads, and then bake, and seal.

There are videos on youtube if you look for polymer clay tutorials.

And to answer a question you asked on the other thread, I think you can use clear or matching beads (the rainbow snow cones they used clear). I have not made these yet but sooo want to, another project on hold!

Here's another project using the micro beads, to give you an idea what the clear ones look like. I need some of that adhesive paper!

I've used those beads and the pink double sided tape to cover the lids on little boxes years ago. It was a project I'd learned on HGTV. I completely forgot about those beads!
