Default Pouring Bottle Caps---need some advice

Those of you that use ET Lite on your bottle caps, what kind of surface do you set them on to pour them? I have used ET Lite before on larger projects, and have always just elevated the project on an upside down plastic cup so that the extra resin could drain off. I just poured my first batch of caps tonight and put them on a cake cooling rack, but the bars of the rack are far enough apart that the caps kept falling. I got them done, but it was a huge pain! Any tips on what to pour them on??

Are you letting the resin drip completly over the edges? Most people don't do it that way. It gives you a nice seal but it's a major pain.

I try to keep the resin on the top so I don't have to try to clean it up later. I use a cookie sheet & an old cutting board that I cover so if I do have dribbles it comes right off.

Okay, that makes sense! I did pour it over them and let it cover the entire cap. My husband was helping me and he said, "this is going to be a pain to get this stuff down in all those little ridges!"----And it was! lol Okay, next time I won't bother with that! Thank you!!
