Default How do you attach your flowers to clips?

Do you put any backing on the flowers? or just glue the back of the flower on the top of the clip? The ones I got from HH are horrid. I'm having to redo them all. They stick out like crazy. BUT now I know.

I've done it both ways, but more often than not I just glue a lined clip onto the back and then put a cross piece of ribbon to help give it a bit more security. I like the look of the felt circle, but I just really don't always have time to do it that way.

That's how I make mine also. It also looks more polished with the cross piece.

Can one you ladies please post a pic of what you are talking about with the cross piece. I want to make sure I am comprehending correctly. Forgive my ignorance!

thanks, I never even thought of that. All I know is how I got HH's are just not happening. lol I believe they mean they make a + the l being the clip and the - being the ribbon. I have trouble with the glue gun though I always get TOO much and goes everywhere. Maybe I should try a fine tip nozzle?
