Default question about tying the center around and using a no-slip

Until now, I've always used fabritac to glue my finished bows onto alli clips, but saw that some people tie the centers around the clip. If you do this, how does your no-slip work? It seems to me that the extra thickness would prevent the no-slip from being even across the clip and basically put all of the clipping pressure to the width of the center ribbon instead of the length of the clip. I use velvet ribbon for my no-slip or I use latex-free foam shelf liner.

Default Re: question about tying the center around and using a no-slip

Regardless of thickness of the ribbon I tie around the clip for the center...Ive never had a problem with the no slip either way.
I've found that when you glue the center all the way around the is less floppy...and I usually tack down my backside of my ends of my bow anywhere to the clip I can to anchor it to keep it from curling. I also use fabritcac
