Red face Help me with my first bow please

This is my first bow...ever
Can you tell me what I can do to shape it better or does it look fine like that? I made it using the figure 8 method..




ATTEMPT #2 better?

I think your shape is great! I would spray starch on it to make sure it keeps it shape! Great for your first

Okay thank you! I bought starch a looong time ago and now that I finally need it I can't find it The ribbon is flimsy so the starch should help keep it perky right?

Yup! I just spray Faultless spray starch from walmart(.97 cents) on it and let it dry and it it hardens. If you are in a hurry you can put the bow in the oven for a few or I've even set them on my porch and the heat from the sun works too LOL.

put your finger on the middle where you sewed it and squish it down and rock you finger back and forth on it a little. then pick it up and look at it. you can also pull on the loops to make them more pronounced. Like at the end of this video.
