When I make my korkers, I sew them as well... I go through the korker 3 or 4 times and sometimes I stab myself with the needle a couple of times in the process! They are extremely hard at times to sew through and I agree with everyone that using a hard service and pliers work wonders... and I have MANY bent and broken needles... recommend a big thick embroidery needle... HTH

I couldn't get the needle back thru after bringing it back to the backside. I'm using 1/8 ribbon so it seems impossible to line it up just right. BUT I played with them a bit and I think they are secure. I think I am just too much of a perfectionist! LOL I'd post pics but I have no idea how!
