What size/style bows are you making for Middle Schoolers/Tweens?

Any pictures?

Thank you,

The bows that seem to be more requested for the tweens are the singed flowers in shades of purple, deep pinks and garnet and black. Also they seem to be requesting the small bows like for toddlers, but they want rhinestones or some kind of bling to draw attention. I have one lady who buys just lined clippied in printed ribbon and I add a few rhinestones on each one. That way she can mix and match accordingly. I don't have any pics yet to show, sorry, but I am working on trying to get a new camera.

Thank you

I got an order from a repeat customer who wants an assortment for her twin daughters who are tweens. Her orders are generally very non-specific, "Suprise me with $40 worth of bows"...lol. I try to narrow it down to a few choices, but she still says, "Whatever is fine".

I appreciate your suggestions.

I think it depends on the area of the country you are in.

I'm in TN and all the 12-13 years old here wear my itty bitties, solid colors, no bling, all colors. My 12 year old has never worn bows in her life until now!!

I see a lot of tween-young adults wearing 1.5-2" basic boutique bows made with 5/8" ribbon.

I also see skinny headbands with small bows off to the side a little

I had a high school girl buy one of my large stacked bows with tinkerbell in the center. I swear she came buy my booth and looked it over about 20 times and as we were packing up she ran over and asked if I would still sell it too her. I guess her mom had given her X amount of dollars and she was having a hard time parting with it, but really wanted that bow! LOL

i'm a teen bow-maker selling to teens, and what most want are either plain colored tuxedo bows or patterned ones like zebra, cheetah, etc.
typically, >>>> http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Acc...ccessories.jsp
that's what they want.

Ditto! I just had a 12 yr. old come knocking on my door yesterday. She bought every shade of animal print tuxedo bows I have.
