Unhappy Need help fast please!!

I have a show tomorrow and I know I should have been better prepared but I didn't think I would have such a hard time figuring this stuff out.

Ok, here's my problem.

I bought a bow card template from Polka Dot Dandy a month ago or so. I love it and it's perfect, however when I open the file it opens in PDF format in Adobe. I need it to open in JPG or GIF so I can open it in Picnik and change the size.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME DO THIS! I have tried every way I could think(not many because I have no idea how to change it) and I just can't figure it out.

On to my second problem. When I do get it figured out, how in the heck do I print it on my computer at home. I bought 4.25" x 5.5" cards to print the design on but the cards are so small how do I get them to run through my computer and not go crooked??

I am so stressed and so lost. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

TIA

As for opening the file you should open it with a pdf reader as adobe then you go to files a click on save a copy and when the window opens to ask where you want to save it make sure you change the way to save it on the last link below choose JPG file.
That should work.
for the cards if you need to change the size you should use any image program as this is what JPG is...... an image format and resize it I use publisher which is very easy although very old too cause photoshop and i just dont get along
HTH
And don`t worry you should see me the day before any of my shows LOL no matter how prepared I am always something happens LOL

Thank you so much for the helpful advice.

I just tried to go do what you said but when I click save a copy, the window opens and it will only let me choose ADOBE PDF files, it doesn't bring up JPG or anything else but that.

Make sure you're clicking SAVE AS and then in the drop down at the bottom it should let you choose.

YOUR BEST BET WOULD BE TO CONTACT THE ONE YOU got it from originally and have them resend it to you in JPEG format. as for the cards to go into your printer without getting out of alignment you should have a adjustable track or tray on your printer?

I'm Pming you right now!

Ok, so the image is JPG now. (Thanks Julia!)

So now I need help figuring out how to resize it in inches. Every resizing editor I have is general...like

Tiny 100x75
Med 320x240

etc.

I need one that will let me enter inches. Or can someone help me figure out which preset size is closest to the inches I need.

Man I am so photo editing illiterate. LOL
