Default did I make my korkers wrong?

I didn't starch or wet them, they all curled great, but they aren't stiff. Can I still starch them off the dowels, or will that make them go funny? I suppose I can always re-wrap them and then starch, but man that would take a lot of time.

I think I got a little too excited about making them and didn't think about the rest.

If they took the curl, they shouldn't lose it if you starch them once they're finished. The heat sets them, and getting wet won't take it out.

Thank you for easing my mind, I was a little worried I'd done so well getting them to curl that I could undo it all.

They are kinda cute limp as well, folded in half I might have to find a use for them that way too.

I've never starched my korkers and they are still just as curly as when I took them off the dowel.

So far they seem to be holding their shape really well. But I always think other people's look more springy, and stiff. If I pick one up, it bends in half like a curly wet noodle, is that normal?

I think it's a good thing I made them when I did, our 40+ year old oven is konking out, and since we rent who knows when we will have it fixed.
