Default The right glue to last through oil!!

Has anyone figured out how to make a bow hold together for people who use oil in their hair? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!

I really need to know too! It's only happened once to one of my clips that I know of, but I really don't want it to happen again!

A good friend of mine who buys small bows from me uses oil in her hair and the only thing I can suggest is what she does, if she's going to use the bow to put her bangs back, she just doesn't use oil in her bangs that day and just uses it through the rest of her hair.

Ribbon is fabric, there's no way for it not to transfer through. The only thing you can do is just sew everything and not glue anything.

I figured as much. I think I'm just going to sew everything and then sew bows to a pony-O instead of gluing to the hair clip. It's the hair clip that falls apart. Has anyone had any success with simply not lining the clip and using E6000?

oil that is used in hair is going to be petrolium based.... most glues that we use are petrolium based... petrolium on petrolium causes them to degrade
