Default Yep, another stacked bow question! lol

On the bottom layer bow, I've looked at pics and it seems that they are flipped over when they are put together. Is this really how you do them? KWIM? Thanks for all the help!

My bottom layer bow is just a twisted boutique bow that is not flipped over. I'm sure there are different ways these bows are made, but that's how I make mine. Hope that helps!

I personally don't but I would say a lot of ppl do.

i make my base bow a bit larger than my topper so they fit together a little better

this was discussed a few weeks ago as well, and it appeared that people were split 50/50 on which way they would do it!

I've done it both ways. I don't like how the upside bow sits on the head so I'm back to twisted boutique and always make the top bow half inch smaller so it sits right. I also starch all my layers.

Okay, so I did a twisted boutique and did not flip it over. But I must say that I have looked at the bows on here that you wonderful ladies have made and always thought to myself, " Wow, I wish I could do that". Well, after much help from the forum, I made a perfect stacked bow! I will have to upload a pic of it later since my DD is wearing it to school today. I have never been soo proud of a bow that I have made.

I've tried flipping it over before, but I just like it better face up. And like the other ladies said, I also make it a little bigger than the top bow. But I think it is just a personal preference, whichever works best for you.
