Default Glue a bottlecaps on a bow

i need you help, Ladies. i made my DD set of boutique bow and used a hot glue to glue the bottle caps. and of course she pulled the cap off. so is there anything that i need to know how to get it on the bow. TIA, Roza

does it have the plastic liner in? if so, scrape it if you cant get it removed all the way, then make a pool of e6000 in the cap and lay a piece of ribbon long enough to go around your bow center and let it dry then glue it on with the ribbon (hot glue)

if it doesnt have the center then you should be able to just glue the ribbon with hot glue and attach

you can also purchase plastic button shanks to add or use a button with a shank that is a flat circle (cheap ones )

it had a rubber thing in it. but i definitely will try your method.

the rubber thing is what keeps it from adhering, make sure you try to get it out or scrape it up really well

Hey you may need to use a high temp hot glue thats what I always use and have never had a prob. Good luck!

yes that is what i use as well when the rubber center is removed from the back but when it is there, it pops right off

yes it is high temp, but it probably because of rubber that was there, that is why it came off. thanks anyways

I buy #45 buttons eye backs and glue them inside the bottlecap the I run a ribbon through the eye back of the button back and tie it around my bow.
I forgot to tell everyone in my recent Gb that you could get #45 button eye backs for this....for my next Gb I`ll remember and offer them
