Default Does FOE work well on girls with thick and/or curly hair?

I am about to receive some of my first FOE to make headbands and I need to make a headband for a friend's daughter. She is 6 and has very thick hair and it's pretty wavy. I don't know how sturdy or think the FOE is and was wondering how well it would work on her hair. Does anyone know or have any experience? I only see it on babies. Thanks.

Hey Sandy! My daughter has extremely thick, curly hair and FOE looks very pretty and holds her back back fairly well. I attached a few pics to show you.
