Default korker question

I'm trying to plan how much ribbon to order. Does anyone know offhand how much ribbon it takes to wrap a half dowel (the size that will fit in the oven) I usually get 7-8 two & 1/2 inch pieces from each half dowel.

I think I average about a yard of ribbon per dowel. I use 5 dowels for my korkers so 5 yards total for each korker. (for me anyways- some people have more/less)

It would depend on how tightly you wrap and the width of your dowel, but I'd say a 2.5'' piece is about 6'' unwrapped,, so if you have 7-8 of them on your dowel, you're looking at 3-4' (approximately a yard or a bit over).

I'd go with that number. Your variables will be the dowel size (1/4 or 3/8) and how tight it is wrapped. I don't think you'd go wrong using one yard as an guesstimate!
