Default single or double prongs

1. when you do a partially lined clip, which do you use

2. when making bows, which clip do you use single or double prong clips.

I'm just trying to figure out which ones are better. Right now I use double prong, but should i be using single prongs.

I prefer single. I feel like the doubles are a little larger especially when covering with ribbon, but that's a personal preference.

I use single because I think they're easier to get into the hair -- it doesn't get caught between the two prongs.

I also do single cause it's easier to get in the hair, and that is the way my DDINL likes them.

I use both - the Sally's I go to usually only has double so that's what I have been using lately. The 3/8 ribbon fits it perfectly.
